Do You Want to Build a SNOWMAN?!?

These cute snowmen were so much fun to make!  No matter where you live, and whether it's below freezing or not, why not take a little bit of time and make a snowman, or two, three ....

Using my workhorse Cricut Artbooking cartridge, (page 77) I cut multiple snowmen to correspond in size with my candy canes for "sledding."  A favorite feature of this cartridge is that the image sizes are "linked" to cut in the size you select for layering and coordinating images.  Of course, you can turn this feature off and cut a variety of sizes.
I used White Daisy cardstock for the snowmen and the tags, Black cardstock for the eyes and buttons, and Chocolate cardstock for the arms all from Papercraftingwithgayle.ctmh.com.  For the nose, a piece of orange cardstock from a multi-pack of Hobby Lobby cardstock, and for the patterned papers I dipped into my miscellaneous Christmas paper stash.

To accessorized my snowmen I used a Glue Pen and Foam Tape.

I love how the Shimmer Brush adds a touch of sparkle to his hat! This sweet patterned paper used for his scarf and hat decor was the lone piece of reindeer with hearts and holly paper remaining in my trusty miscellaneous Christmas box.

The scarf and hat decor paper used here is from a Paper Pizzazz tablet a few years back.

This fun pattern paper, is also from the few pages remaining in my Paper Pizzazz Christmas tablet.  Remember in papercrafting, decent sized "scraps" are just not tossed!  You never know when you'll need something!

Because I really liked the look of the Clear Shimmer Brush on the hats of my snowmen, you guessed it, I added a touch of glistening sparkle to each of my snowmen as well!  Below, each snowman is shown with his "sled" and a cute little gift tag.

The sweet "Let it Snow"  tags were previously discussed in my October 7, 2016 Blog The sentiment is from the Perfect Presents limited time stamp set. (It retires December 31, 2016.)  Sea Glass ink, Liquid Glass, and my Clear Shimmer Brush are used on the front of the tags.  On the back, which is not shown, I did stamp with Black ink, "Just for You" and "To" and "From" since these sledding snowmen were used as gifts. The recently retired, Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge was used to cut my tags.  I also used Baker's Twine on my tags.

So, do you, fellow papercrafter, want to build a snowman?  Oh what fun!  Thank you so much for visiting!

I enjoy hearing from you!  Have a wonderful day!
