IT'S SUMMERTIME!
"NO WORRIES" PAGES

Welcome!  Today I'm excited to share with you some of the scrapbook pages I made using the Paper Pack and coordinating Complements of the No Worries Creative Collection.  This collection is calming and relaxing, just like a lazy day at the beach!

Included in my color palette are peaceful shades of cashmere, glacier, lagoon, sapphire, whisper and white daisy.

My layouts shown are designed to feature photos within the area of the wood patterned paper. Can't you just see the boardwalk to the beach?

When I make my pages, I add a touch of the "anchor" embellishments, as shown. Then, after my photos and journaling have been added, I'll add additional embellishments to get just the right look!  This generally includes Complements, and the coordinating sequins and/or ribbon.  Of course, sprinkles of bling appear more often than not!

The No Worries Complements are paired to coordinate perfectly with this paper packet!  I love this!  It is so much fun! They include coordinating stickers and kraft die-cuts, some with white foil.  By using foam tape on some of the embellishments gives the layout a dimensional edge.

After making 6 pages, plenty of paper and embellishments remain.  Woo Hoo!  I'll show you these soon!

I went ahead and prepared 2 additional half size pages using a Design 1 and a Design 3 Pocket Plus Memory Protectors.  I'll show you these in an upcoming post.

I'll easily be able to make another layout or and greeting cards with my remaining papers and embellishments.  Woo Hoo!

 Until next time --

Thank you so much for visiting!

I enjoy hearing from you!  Have a wonderful day!

MASCULINE THEMED CARDS

JUST IN TIME FOR FATHER'S DAY!

Welcome!  Today we'll take a look at a few cards I've crafted that are suitable for Dad!  Having my wonderful husband, Daddy, son, and grandson, along with my brother and brothers-in-law and nephews, the occasion for sending cards with a masculine theme occurs on a regular basis!  With Father's Day right around the corner, let's get started!

This "You Are Really Really Awesome" card says it all!  It is made using components included in the Workshops Your Way® Father's Day Cardmaking Kit.  When you order this kit from me, you are able to download a cutting guide and instructions for 12 cards.  You'll see that even though it includes a "Father's Day" sentiment stamp , it is by no means limited to this one day!  I used Lagoon ink for the sentiment and Ruby for the stars on my card.

Along with this easy to use kit, I made up some cards for the guys in my life also using the Enchantment Fundamentals Paper and various stamps.  You, too, can make these!  I'm here to help!  Here's one of them.  My stamping is done on White Daisy Cardstock adhered with Foam Tape.

I also used a variety of embellishments, including the twine shown here, from the Rustic Home Ribbon Pack, and Black Dots.
The magnificent deer on my card is a stamp that is part of Nature's Wish.  Hint:  This set is also great for Christmas cards! It is a "go-to" stamp!  My image is stamped with Cocoa ink.

Just this morning when I was outside tending to the garden, this beautiful creature came walking up my driveway!  I fumbled my gloves off to retrieve my phone to snap a quick picture! Such a delight!

My Adventure Card shown here, is also made using the Enchantment Fundamentals Paper Pack.  I used a blue and white twine from the Enchantment Ribbon Pack.  My stamping is done with Archival Black ink using three different stamps from the Let's Go set.

Until next time --

Thankful For You Card

Welcome!  Wow!  June is moving right along!  These last few weeks have been incredibly busy, but oh, so enjoyable!  Time with long distance family is so special and memorable!  So many wonderful photos and stories to add to my family scrapbooks.

I am so glad you've stopped by today!  Let's take a look at this sweet little thank you card I made using the June Stamp of the Month, "Hello Foxy." This little fox is so adorable, I just had to put him on the front of the card.

I used the New England Ivy to stamp both the wreath and flower.  My Colored Pencils and Clear Shimmer Brush were also used.

The small flower and fox were both stamped and colored on White Daisy Cardstock.  They were then cut out using my Micro Tip Scissors and adhered to the card base with Foam Tape.  Both the fox and the sentiment were stamped with Black Archival Ink.

For the sentiment, also stamped on a piece of White Daisy Cardstock, I edged the sides using Eggplant Ink.

The wreath is stamped directly onto the card base.  To add just a little more bling, I added a Bitty Sparkle and a Clear Sparkle.  These are easy to use self-adhesive bling!

My paper at the bottom of the card is from the Whimsy Fundamental Paper Pack.  I really like this pack, and will be sorry to see it retired at the end of July. It is such a versatile collection of papers.

The other baby foxes in this set are also adorably cute and playful looking.  Along with card making, I can envision these sweet little guys on scrapbook pages with photos of parks, children, and backyard fun.  The wreath is fun to stamp and color, also with many uses.  The sentiments provide a warm greeting for your recipient.

The " Hello Foxy" stamp set, s1706, is a set of 11.  You do need use a Block while stamping.  If you do not already own a set of Blocks, the recommended Blocks for this set are: 1" × 3½" (Y1002), 2" × 2" (Y1003) and 3" × 3" (Y1006).
