Happy Thanksgiving!
The week of the great feast is here! In the upcoming days and weeks, our homes will be filled with family and friends, along with all the wonderful aromas the Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year brings.
I had fun making this "Happy Thanksgiving" banner! I've woven natural twine through the individual tags to hang it over the fireplace.
The letters and the acorns were cut with my Cricut, using the new Close To My Heart Flower Market Cricut Cartridge. Colonial White Cardstock was used for the base of each of my tags with the cute acorns made with Goldrush and Chocolate Cardstock. I also used some "White Pines" Pattern Paper as my tag borders. Of course, my favorite new "tool" was used as well, the Shimmer Brush!
This is the outside of one of the sweet "Happy Thanksgiving" cards I made using my new Wreath Thin Cuts, Wreath Essentials My Acrylix Stamp, and Happy Thanksgiving My Acrylix Stamp. On the inside, the Blessed Beyond Measure My Acrylix Stamp set, and the Operation Smile True Love My Acrylix Stamp set were used as sentiments for the different cards.
Additional materials used include Cards and Envelope Value Pack, Poppy, English Ivy, and Chocolate My Exclusive Inks,Watercolor Pencils, My Acrylix Blocks, twine, foam tape, and, yes, my Shimmer Brush.
These cards are not only great for mailing, but also if you are hosting Thanksgiving, as place cards.
Enjoy! Have a blessed Thanksgiving! I count YOU as one of my blessings! Thank you for visiting. I look forward to hearing from you!
Happy Papercrafting!
