Thankful For You Card
Welcome! Wow! June is moving right along! These last few weeks have been incredibly busy, but oh, so enjoyable! Time with long distance family is so special and memorable! So many wonderful photos and stories to add to my family scrapbooks.
I am so glad you've stopped by today! Let's take a look at this sweet little thank you card I made using the June Stamp of the Month, "Hello Foxy." This little fox is so adorable, I just had to put him on the front of the card.
I used the New England Ivy to stamp both the wreath and flower. My Colored Pencils and Clear Shimmer Brush were also used.
The small flower and fox were both stamped and colored on White Daisy Cardstock. They were then cut out using my Micro Tip Scissors and adhered to the card base with Foam Tape. Both the fox and the sentiment were stamped with Black Archival Ink.
For the sentiment, also stamped on a piece of White Daisy Cardstock, I edged the sides using Eggplant Ink.
The wreath is stamped directly onto the card base. To add just a little more bling, I added a Bitty Sparkle and a Clear Sparkle. These are easy to use self-adhesive bling!
My paper at the bottom of the card is from the Whimsy Fundamental Paper Pack. I really like this pack, and will be sorry to see it retired at the end of July. It is such a versatile collection of papers.
The other baby foxes in this set are also adorably cute and playful looking. Along with card making, I can envision these sweet little guys on scrapbook pages with photos of parks, children, and backyard fun. The wreath is fun to stamp and color, also with many uses. The sentiments provide a warm greeting for your recipient.
The " Hello Foxy" stamp set, s1706, is a set of 11. You do need use a Block while stamping. If you do not already own a set of Blocks, the recommended Blocks for this set are: 1" × 3½" (Y1002), 2" × 2" (Y1003) and 3" × 3" (Y1006).
