Stars & Pinwheels Banner!

Welcome! I have always loved adding little touches of seasonal papercrafting decor around our home! This Pinwheels & Stars Banner was so much fun to design and create! I used my Pinwheel Thin Cut and a Star design from the Art Philosophy Cricut Image Set. (For all CTMH Cricut Image Sets and products, just click on the Cricut icon at the bottom of my Home page!)

Sapphire and Candy Apple Cardstock from the gorgeous Blue Skies Collection, White Daisy Cardstock, as well as some Red Grosgrain Ribbon I had on hand, were used.

This limited edition cardstock has fun glossy UV-coated patterns on one side. As you may recall, last week, I featured layouts, cards, and pinwheels with this beautiful Blue Skies collection.

Our cardstock is white core, and is easily and cleanly cut using our Pinwheel Thin Cut! This cardstock is also a dream to cut on the Cricut! This basic banner is oh, so simple to create, and a great family activity! You can easily add many more embellishments and flair--flags and paper fireworks come to mind! (LOL -they will probably be added!)

These pinwheels come together quickly with these handy Silver Brads.

This star design is one of my favorites from Close to My Heart's Art Philosophy Cricut Collection.

My swag of red, white, and blue patterned paper stars, shown below our Pinwheels & Start Banner, was actually made quite a few years ago! It is a great complement to our new Pinwheel & Star Banner! My star swag is strung on fishing line! LOL! Yes, I keep reel of line in my ribbon and twine drawer.
